Caring Ministry

We believe in life, and in the strength of love;
and we have found a need to be together.
We have our hearts to give,
We have kindness to receive,
and we believe that caring is an answer.

--Adapted words of UU Hymn, “We Laugh, We Cry”

The Caring Ministry Program at First Unitarian is designed to enable members and friends to more effectively serve the needs of others in our community.

Caring Ministry consists of three levels of participation:
(1) Two coordinators in consultation with the minister oversee and assign tasks to “point persons”.
(2) Point persons are in charge of subgroups that will respond to specific needs and types of care.
(3) These subgroups consist of lists of volunteers who have signed up for one or more areas of service.

Download a form here, fill out, and return to the church. We look forward to your participation in this important ministry.
