Services and Sermons
Let us go from this place, open to life, expecting to love, and prepared to serve.
- We close our services with these words.
We gather for Sunday morning services in reverence for the mystery and continued revelation of our shared existence. Drawing upon religious texts from the world’s traditions and personal narrative, along with poetry, music and art, our services aim to spark the mind, lighten the spirit, and touch the heart. These ideas are framed by the ever-present questions: What does it mean to be human? What are we called to do in our one, precious life? How do we leave the world better than we have found it? Rev. Mark Stringer leads services on at least 32 Sundays a year, with the remainder of the services led by lay members or special guests.
Sunday services at 9:30 am and 11:00 am.
Joys and Concerns
We take time during each service to share the joys and concerns that touch our lives: the news of significant challenges, successes, and milestones too important not to be shared.
If you would like to have a joy or concern shared during Sunday services,
please e-mail joysandconcerns@ucdsm.org by noon on Friday.
